NXP Semiconductors TFA9894D High-Efficiency Class-D Audio Amplifier offers a sophisticated SpeakerBoost and Protection algorithm, allowing maximum speaker performance. The Audio Enhancement Algorithm is embedded on the chip and features a 10-band speaker equalizer, stereo phase correction, multi-band compression, and noise gate. The TFA9894D Amplifier delivers up to 5.6W (AVG) output power into an 8 speaker and up to 6.2W (AVG) output power into a 4Ω speaker, at a battery supply voltage of 4.0V. The internal adaptive DC-to-DC converter provides ample headroom for major improvements in sound quality with a raised power supply voltage up to 10V.
